How Long Is The Downtime?
You’ll have small carbon crusts on the skin for about 5 to 7 days. These act as a biological dressing and must fall off naturally. Swelling is normal, especially for facial treatments, and peaks around day two. You must keep the area dry to ensure your skin heals perfectly.
Why Do I Need A Photo Assessment First?
This is a critical safety protocol we use to protect you. Darker skin tones, Fitzpatrick 4 to 6, carry a higher risk of hyperpigmentation. We conduct photo consultations to analyse your skin type first. This ensures the procedure is safe for you before booking.
How Long Do The Results Last?
The results are considered permanent because the excess skin tissue is removed. The skin doesn’t untighten or bounce back at all. However, your skin will continue to age naturally due to gravity. This means most people enjoy their refreshed look for 3 to 5 years.
